Job Title: Japanese-language translator

We are looking for an experienced Japanese-language translator to translate technical text for marketing materials, communications, and other incidental collateral relating to proprietary data and AI platforms. The translator will be responsible for accurate translations from English into Japanese, and will be part of a team of translators responsible for other high-priority languages. The translator will be involed in a dynamic internationalization program essential to the organizations growth. A successful translator should be able to grasp nuances and convey contextual information accurately while maintaining the compelling tone required for marketing and communications. Translator Responsibilities: Provide accurate translations of texts. Attend meetings regarding the internationalization program when called. Liaise with colleagues to ensure that translations are true to the original meaning. Learn and regularly keep up with knowledge regarding the platforms and their various capabilities. Translator Requirements: Must be natively fluent in English and Japanese. Must provide official documentation of translation certifications in Japanese. Must have 3+ years prior experience doing technical translations.
