Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and produce high-quality documentation that communicates complex technical information clearly and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with the ability to translate intricate concepts into user-friendly content. This role involves collaborating with engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to create and maintain a variety of technical documents, including manuals, user guides, and online help resources. Key Responsibilities Minimum 3 years of product development technical writing skills Product Specifications: Detailed descriptions of product features, functionalities, and design. It includes technical requirements, design constraints, and performance criteria. User Manuals: Guides that explain how to use the product effectively, often including step-by-step instructions, troubleshooting tips, and safety information. Document Creation: Develop, write, and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, technical specifications, and online help resources. Content Development: Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and understand technical concepts. Transform complex information into easy-to-understand content for various audiences. Editing and Proofreading: Review and revise documentation for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Ensure all technical content is error-free and meets quality standards. Standards and Guidelines: Establish and adhere to documentation standards and guidelines. Develop and maintain documentation templates and style guides. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing or a similar role. Proven track record of creating high-quality technical documentation. Proficiency in technical writing tools and software. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems is a plus. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to write clearly and concisely for various audiences. Strong understanding of technical concepts, software development processes, and IT terminology.
