Stock Controller

Job Responsibilities:

• Regular visits to the Stores. Track and assess improvements of stores and address the issues.
• Training the new store managers, TL, and store team to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Review and mapping of process for improvement of Store standard.
• Pre-planning of events for better execution along with backend team
• Drive SOP audit at Stores
• Follow "One Business One Communication process" end to end.
• Ensure banking processes done properly and all expenses booked properly as per process.
• Gap scan Verification / upload and posting.
• Dump register, date code cross inspection and posting.
• Loose conversion posting and RTC upload.
• Monitor RTV upload and potential losses on timely basis.
• Weekly Stock takes.
• Stock receiving DC, DSD deliveries and IST transfer, if any
• Implement and preserve Daily, Weekly and Monthly LP checklist for compliance and countersign from Store Manager / Area LP Manager.
• Conduct investigations in line with Store Manager and Area LP manager on stock loss and security related incidents and involve HR, in people related cases.
• Pest control and housekeeping monitoring in the store
• Support in shrink reduction, critical count, and high value movement
• CCTV monitoring and investigations
• Compliance to safety policies and procedures

Required Skills & Competencies

• Experience managing retail operations preferably from a Food grocery industry.
• Thoroughness in managing stock records and conducting accurate stock counts.
• Experience in stock loss /loss prevention will be an added advantage.
• Computer knowledge is mandatory (Preferable in SAP)
• Familiarity with inventory management software and proficiency in using relevant technology.
• Proven leadership skills to manage a team of associates.
• Excellent Planning & organizing skills.
• Must be target oriented and should be a good team player.
• Efficiently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, especially during peak seasons.
• Proficiency in working with numbers and conducting accurate calculations.
• Certification in FOSTAC / Fire fight/ First aid / computers/ SAP will be added advantage
