Times Group - Deputy Chief Manager - Search Engine Optimization (8-12 yrs)

This is a Team leader role for TimesPro's website and organic initiatives. Increasing traffic to being a top player in the category across top, middle and bottom funnel, using video, blogs and other content formats. Key part of the role will entail driving lead generating traffic to our Product, Category pages, and working closely with tech to ensure website structure, UI, visit to lead fill ratios as per plan. Collaborating with Content, Tech and Performance Marketing teams will be a key requirement to deliver business outcomes

JOB DESCRIPTION: The broad areas of responsibility:

SEO:

- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies

- Manage team of SEO Specialists and SEO agency

- Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes

- Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy

- Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)

-Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects

- Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends

Content Marketing:

- Design content marketing strategies and set short-term goals

- Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets

- Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high quality content

- Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics

- Analyze web traffic metrics - Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence

Website & Analytics:

- Conduct regular audits and analysis of website performance; develop and implement website optimization strategies to enhance user experience, while increasing website traffic

- Defining events and trigger on website and app and working with tech team to implement the same

- Analyzing how users navigate through a website and app and interact with its content, gain valuable insights to drive conversions

- Analysing heatmaps, funnels, exit pages, click tracking etc. to increase lead fill on website
