Retail Planner & Merchandiser Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandise Planning:
  
• Develop and execute short- and long-term merchandise strategies aligned with business goals and customer demands.
• Manage and analyze product performance to optimize assortment and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and consistency in product quality.
• Coordinate product lifecycle from planning to in-store presentation, ensuring product availability while avoiding overstocking.
• Inventory Management:
  
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock across multiple locations to ensure the availability of products without excess stock.
• Work closely with the supply chain team to forecast demand, plan inventory, and replenish stock accordingly.
• Identify and address inventory discrepancies, and proactively manage shrinkage and stockouts.
• Retail Strategy & Execution:
  
• Oversee the visual merchandising strategy in collaboration with the visual team to ensure store layouts and displays meet brand guidelines and seasonal trends.
• Ensure effective product placement and planogram execution to maximize sales.
• Implement promotional strategies, seasonal events, and new product launches across stores.
• Sales & Profitability Analysis:
  
• Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market conditions to adjust merchandise strategies and maximize profitability.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory turnover, and customer preferences for senior management.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  
• Lead and mentor a team of planners and merchandisers, ensuring they meet performance goals and align with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and successful promotions.
• Communicate regularly with retail teams to ensure the proper execution of merchandise plans and visual displays.
• Market Trends & Competitive Analysis:
  
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.
• Recommend adjustments to product offerings based on industry trends and customer insights.
