Our client is World's leading Luxury Real Estate firms.
They possess premium ultra-luxury asset classes across real estate and hospitality sectors on Pan-India level.
Ideal Profile:
- Currently working as Head of Compliance/ Chief Compliance Officer position.
- Industry: Real Estate, Construction, Project Management, Interior Turnkey/Fit Out, Infrastructure, Hospitality (MUST).
- 15+ years of experience with at least 8 years in senior compliance roles.
- Real Estate experience is a MUST (extensive knowledge of real estate regulations and compliance requirements).
Responsibilities:
Compliance Program Leadership:
- Design and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive compliance program covering business development, project operations, sales, marketing, property management operations and other key business functions.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with local and national applicable real estate regulations.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements across operating jurisdictions and update compliance programs accordingly.
- Lead internal compliance investigations and coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries.
- Establish compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess compliance risks across all business operations, including property acquisition, development, sales, and management.
- Collaborate with legal department to ensure proper documentation and compliance with real estate laws, zoning regulations, and building codes.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing compliance team across multiple locations.
- Establish clear performance metrics and goals for the compliance function.
- Manage the compliance department budget and resource allocation.
Reporting & Communication:
- Report directly to the CEO on compliance matters.
- Prepare regular compliance status reports for executive management and the board.
- Develop and maintain compliance dashboards and key performance indicators.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
- Coordinate with other department heads to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Manage external compliance consultants and vendors as needed.
