JOB OVERVIEW :

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Head to join our Product & Tech team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software architecture and backend structures, with proficiency in Node.js and a solid grasp of app backend development.

The role also demands someone with the strategic vision and leadership skills to work closely with the CEO and oversee the overall Tech team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Manage and lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and infrastructure.

- Collaborate closely with the Director of the Product & Tech team to align engineering efforts with business goals.

- Work directly with the CEO to translate high-level business objectives into technical roadmaps and strategies.

- Provide leadership across the entire Tech team, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.

- Ensure technical excellence and adherence to best practices in software development.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering team.

- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to technology and product development.

REQUIREMENTS :

- Proven experience as an Engineering Head or similar leadership role in a software development environment.

- In-depth knowledge of software architecture, backend structures, and Node.js.

- Hands-on experience with app backend development and familiarity with relevant technologies and frameworks.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with C-level executives.

- Strategic thinker capable of aligning technical initiatives with broader business goals.

- Experience managing cross-functional Tech teams and driving organization-wide technological innovation.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
