Job Title: MIS Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

The MIS Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the management and operation of the organization's information systems. This role involves assisting in the collection, storage, and analysis of data to support decision-making and ensuring the smooth functioning of MIS processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and managing a team of MIS Team Leader and their respective teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Data Management: Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decisions.
• Problem-Solving: Skill in diagnosing issues within MIS systems and developing effective solutions to address them.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring data accuracy and reliability by meticulously reviewing and validating information.
• System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and operation of MIS systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to provide insights for management and support strategic decision-making.
• Project Support: Assist in planning and executing MIS projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Security: Implement data security protocols to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their information needs and ensure MIS systems meet those needs.
• Training: Provide training and support to staff on the use of MIS systems and tools.
• Project Management: Participate in and may lead departmental or cross-functional project teams to improve capacity planning processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in MIS or a related field, with at least 2-4 years in a relevant role.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant software and technologies.
