Head - IT Project Delivery - PMP (12-20 yrs)

Job description:

The role of the head is to represent IT internally. The person will primarily will be responsible for on time delivery of all IT projects within the set timelines, corporate guidelines and in line with budget

Role & responsibilities:

- Consistently demonstrate responsiveness, strong customer focus, and ability to build good customer relationships

- Support in customer presentations and advice on areas as solutions, implementation of them and operational processes

- Provide assistance on implementation and operational processes for supply chain solutions

- Manage project implementation at in-country sites for DHL customers

- Provide project implementation support/guidance and information

- Assist in-country teams in implementing the operational processes solutions

- Roll-out new projects with project plans and documentations

- Oversee set-ups to ensure smooth operational usage

- Ensure the vendors delivers the systems per signed off specification including extensive testing and proper implementation

Preferred candidate profile:

- Responsible for all elements of the IT project implementation life cycle regarding country / cluster based projects.

- IT budget management control project costs, deliver within budget.

- Prepare and maintain the project plan and time scales control project time-scales, deliver on time.

- Preparation of timely and accurate PMO reports.

- Resource management and development direction, motivation, training and decision support to project staff. Recognise and manage differing skill sets, performance and conflicts

- Deployment of project delivery tools, methodologies and standards.

- Delivery of projects to agreed time, cost and quality requirements

- Reduction in cost through the efficient use of IT.

- Achievement of Customer Satisfaction targets

- Achievement of business strategy goals/measures

- Manage budget to actuals

Must Have- B. E + PMP/ any project management certifications.

Excellent communication skills

Experienced in managing multiple stakeholders.

Open to learn and Collaborate with Global stakeholders.
