Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Toolroom operations at Spectrum Electrical Industries Limited. As the Strategic Toolroom Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing tool and die manufacturing, maintenance, and optimization. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality production, cost efficiency, and alignment with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the ToolRoom, including planning, execution, and monitoring of tool and die production and maintenance.
• Optimize tool design and production processes to enhance quality, reduce downtime, and improve productivity.

2. Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement strategies to align ToolRoom operations with overall plant and company objectives.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.

3. Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled engineers, machinists, and technicians.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure adherence to quality standards in tool manufacturing and maintenance.
• Collaborate with quality teams to resolve defects and improve product reliability.

5. Cost Control:

• Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in tool production and maintenance.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with design, production, and supply chain teams to meet project requirements.
• Engage with customers and vendors to align on specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Masters degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in ToolRoom operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in tool and die design, manufacturing processes, and CNC machining.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software and ERP systems.
