Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Plant Head with proven expertise in managing plant operations. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and experience in sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, assembly processes, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to drive operational excellence.

Key Expertise Areas:

1. Sheet Metal Fabrication:

• Extensive experience in sheet metal fabrication processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Proficiency in optimizing fabrication workflows for maximum efficiency and quality output.

2. Powder Coating Operations:

• In-depth knowledge of powder coating techniques, equipment, and environmental compliance.
• Expertise in maintaining high-quality surface finishes and production standards.

3. Assembly Processes:

• Strong understanding of assembly line management, including component integration and product testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues to meet production deadlines.

4. Inventory Management:

• Expertise in managing raw material and finished goods inventory to ensure smooth production flow.
• Skilled in implementing inventory control techniques to minimize waste and reduce costs.

5. Plant Operations:

• Demonstrated ability to oversee all aspects of plant operations, from production planning to delivery.
• Skilled in capacity planning, resource allocation, and workforce optimization.

6. Customer Satisfaction:

• Proven track record of ensuring on-time delivery and meeting customer quality expectations.
• Ability to effectively address and resolve customer concerns with a focus on continuous improvement.

7. Leadership & Team Management:

• Strong leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional teams, including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Skilled in fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

8. Compliance & Quality Standards:

• Comprehensive understanding of quality assurance, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
• Expertise in implementing and maintaining industry standards and certifications.

9. Cost Management:

• Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Monitor and control production costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Prepare and present production reports to senior management.

10. Health and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the production team.
• Address any health and safety concerns promptly and effectively.

11. Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments, including Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless production operations.
• Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders to keep them informed of production status and any issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related fields.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in sheet metal fabrication and plant management.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies is advantageous.
• Proficiency in production planning tools, ERP systems(SAP), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
