Salary: ₹6,00,000 - ₹15,00,000 per annum

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative R&D Manager/Assistant Manager to lead our Power Electronics PCB Designing and Power Electronics Devices like Power Modules. The role involves designing and developing products like Power Module of UPS, EV Chargers, etc, along with ensuring the effective use of SMT Lines in production. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing efficient, reliable, and cost-effective power electronics-related electrical devices, while driving innovation and ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development:

• Oversee the design, development, and testing of Power Electronic Devices such as Power Modules of UPS, EV Chargers, etc.
• Lead the development of new products in Power Electronics from concept to production.
• Optimize designs for reliability, cost-efficiency, and performance.

2. SMT Line Expertise:

• Provide guidance on the effective use of SMT Lines for the assembly and production of power electronics devices.
• Address challenges in PCB assembly and ensure smooth production workflows.

3. Leadership & Strategy:

• Lead a team of engineers and designers in PCB design and product development.
• Define R&D strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for efficiency and quality.

4. Innovation:

• Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies and methodologies in power electronics design.
• Conduct research on industry trends and propose new development opportunities.

5. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement, to ensure seamless product development.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
• Identify and resolve design and production challenges promptly.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in PCB design and product development related to power electronics.
• Proven ability to develop new products in Power Electronics.
• Hands-on experience with SMT Lines and knowledge of PCB assembly processes.
• Proficiency in design tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar software.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years in power electronics R&D, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
