R&D- Manager (Electronics)

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the R&D Electronics team, overseeing projects from conception to completion.
• Design, test, and troubleshoot power electronics systems.
• Apply HVAC knowledge to integrate and optimize electronic systems.
• Perform hands-on work with electronic components, including deep knowledge of PCB components and soldering techniques.
• Work with SMD and high voltage components.
• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards.
• Conduct thorough PCB testing and adhere to electronics safety and testing standards.
• Design PCBs using industry-standard software.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex electronic challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven management skills with experience leading R&D teams.
• Expertise in power electronics.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Hands-on experience with electronic components.
• Proficiency in PCB components soldering and SMD components.
• Experience with high voltage components.
• Strong understanding of EMI/EMC standards.
• Proficient in PCB testing.
• Familiarity with electronics safety and testing standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in PCB designing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in electronics and power systems.
• Experience in a similar managerial role within the electronics industry.
