Electronics Lab EV For QAMA

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Power Electronics Engineer with a specialization in Electric Vehicle or similar domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years of experience in designing, testing, and implementing power electronics systems for electric vehicle chargers/charging stations, Battery Pack/BMS, Inverter and Electric Motor.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and test power electronics circuits and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and mechanical engineers, to develop complete Testing Solution electric vehicle systems.

3. Participate in the development of new product specifications and requirements for Testing of EV.

4. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of designs, including schematics, bill of materials, and design/Testing verification reports.

5. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and select new components for use in electric vehicle systems.

6. Stay up to date with the latest developments in power electronics technology and industry trends.

7. Person should have technical hands-on experience as a Firmware Team lead and should be responsible for designing and guiding team engineers in digital circuits, including MCU/DSP and peripherals.

8. Person should have in depth knowledge of assembly/C/C++ for code development and should have good guiding capability to handle/assist team.

9. Understanding of Control System and Control loop implementation in Assembly, CLA / C language.

10. Conceptualization, block, and schematic design for various control cards which include mixed signal, housekeeping power supply & processor / controller-based designs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 9 years of experience in power electronics design, development, and testing of EV.
3. Proficient in the use of simulation tools, such as PSpice and MATLAB/Simulink.

Competency Requirement:

1.Experience with PCB design and layout tools, such as Altium Designer.

2.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

5.Strong knowledge of power electronics circuits and systems, including design, simulation, and analysis.

6.Sound knowledge of power electronics converters like DC-Dc converter, boost, flyback, LLC resonant converters, Full Bridge (With PFC & without PFC), BMS (Hardware & software).

7.Familiarity with electric vehicle/charging Testing standards, such as AIS156, SAE J1772, IPC-A-610, JASO-D-805 & WHMA.
