Purchase Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
  
• Manage procurement activities, including sourcing raw materials from vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery.
  
• Conduct cost analysis and costing for new products to determine feasibility of production.
  
• Develop relationships with vendors to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Meet cost reduction targets by VA-VE; Yield improvement, inner parts localization, Annual price negotiations and other such cost reduction ideas etc.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-7 years of experience in purchase or procurement role in an auto components industry.
  
• B.Tech/B.E. degree in Any Specialization; MBA (Purchase) preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Strong understanding of buyer activities such as negotiation, vendor development, and supplier relationship management.
  
• Knowledge of ZBC (Zero Based Costing), Should Costing techniques a plus.
