Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for leading & managing Process quality, IQC/Supplier, Integrated management system(IMS) & Customer Quality.

2. Establish the continuous improvement drives to achieve long-term & short-term objectives.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Review existing process and product specification to identify the need for improvement or upgrade

2. Maintain proper records of quality test, procedures and standards.

3. Proffer recommendations to company management on ways to improve on existing quality processes

4. Set and enforce standards for health and safety during work operations

5. Identify ways to reduce waste and maximize resources

6. Reduction of Process, IQC, OQC & customer PPM through systematic approach.

7. In-depth understanding & knowledge of Standard room Gauge, ERP, Electrical Instrument, Drawing, GD&T, IS standards, IS:25000 or MIL-105 standard..

8. In depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001: 2018 & ISO 14001:2018.

9. Established objectives for Process, IQC, Supplier Quality, Outgoing Quality, and coach associates on successful completion of objectives

10. Aware about the problem-solving tool like A3, 8D, 5Why, 5W1H, 7QC tools etc.

11. Ensure timely closure of customer complaints, field complaints & updating customer log.

12. To prepare MIS presentation & close all OQC and customer issues with collaborative effort.

13. Controlling the supplier quality processes and resolution of supplier issues

14. Administering and providing updates for supplier quality metrics. Drive continuous improvement activities to meet and exceed these metrics

15. Experience of IQC, supplier Quality, OQC & customer quality with 8 to 10 years of experience in Automobile, Electrical motor, Appliances, Alternator or Electrical fields.

16. Proficient & trained in Green belt 6 sigma & lean tools.

17. Knowledge of automotive tool like APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA & SPC. Understanding & in-depth knowledge of PFMEA, Control plan & PFD

18. Proficient in trouble shooting thru systematic approach. Knowledge of 8D, Why Why analysis, 5W1H etc

19. Internal or lead auditor of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001: 2018 & ISO: 14001:2015.
