Business Head (e-commerce Business)

Roles & responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive eCommerce strategy aligned with overall company goals, including market penetration, revenue targets, and customer acquisition
• Identify market trends and opportunities to drive business growth through new product lines, marketing initiatives, and platform expansions.
• Set clear goals and KPIs for the e-commerce business and ensure their achievement.
• Oversee all facets of e-commerce operations, including website management, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
• Manage and optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotions.
• Drive sales growth and revenue expansion through effective marketing and sales strategies.
• Manage and optimize marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and SEO.
• Analyse sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of e-commerce professionals.
• Responsible for e-commerce business and revenue growth, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Plan and implement all digital marketing strategies including performance marketing, SEO / SEM, social media, website and display advertising.
• Provide thought leadership in emerging trends and tools in digital marketing space.

Qualifications & skills:

• An MBA with 12+ years of experience in delivering high performance in e-commerce, retail, or a related industry, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
• Highly analytical with complete understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and digital marketing tools.
• Highly experienced and passionate for driving results and a willingness to take calculated risks.
• Strong team management and communication skills.
