Job Title: Global Head of Presales
Experience: Overall, 15+ years of experience in IT Services industry with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a presales leadership role Age early 40s
Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our Presales department globally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic growth, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our presales efforts are aligned with business objectives. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to spearhead our presales strategy across diverse markets and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive global presales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals. This includes defining the right structure, setting strategic objectives, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring alignment across regions on a defined presales process.
- Team Management: Lead a global team of presales professionals, providing guidance, mentorship for creating winning proposals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Participation in key Large Deals: Hands-on involvement in some of the Large deals being pursued by Sales. Working closely with internal bid team, service lines, sales, and delivery to ensure a unique proposition goes out at the end. Contributing on the overall story line that highlights our impactful solution and clearly articulates our differentiation from other competitors.
- Solution Strategization along with Tech & Domain CoEs: Work closely with CoEs / Technology Service Lines / Functional Practices to provide market feedback and insights that inform solution roadmaps being built by the practices and ensure our offerings meet evolving customer needs.
- Sales Enablement on Market Research: Build capability within the team to conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve presales processes to enhance operational efficiencies, reduce sales cycles, and increase win rates.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the global presales budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track key metrics to measure presales effectiveness. Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership on areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT solutions and technologies relevant to our business (Digital, DevOps, Agile, Cloud, Data & AI, GenAI, Intelligent Automation, etc.). Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical customer stakeholders at a high level.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Candidate with a solution mindset, articulate & strategic to answer RFP queries.
- Ready to be on call,travel as it is customer facing,front end presales role.
- Understanding about services industry, quick work on things, Complex solution selling mindset.
- Ticket size ( nothing specific)
- Stable (medically fit for travel)
- Multi geography team handling exp
- Leadership mindset & Ready to travel, should have travelled to different geography
