About the job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Head of Sales, APAC. The primary focus of this role is to build a formidable sales engine that will drive the growth of our business in the APAC market. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our operations and ensuring that the APAC region becomes the Key contributor to our overall revenue.
Responsibilities:
As the Head of Sales, APAC, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that effectively penetrates and establishes our presence in the APAC market.
- Building, leading, and managing a high-performing Sales and Account Management team with a strong emphasis on domain expertise.
- Integrating and managing Sales Managers from various service lines, including Cloud, Microsoft, Intelligent Automation, Data & AI, and Software Technologies Consulting, to drive revenue growth and ensure seamless coordination.
- Overseeing the entire sales process, including prospecting, relationship-building, and closing deals, while consistently monitoring KPIs and sales metrics.
- Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders in the US market through effective account management, exceptional customer service, and building networks with industry experts.
- Continuously analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify strategic opportunities for growth and develop targeted sales initiatives.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product, and Delivery to align business objectives and ensure cross-functional support for sales initiatives.
- Providing regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Acting as a brand ambassador and actively representing the company at relevant industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities in the APAC.
Qualifications:
- To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or Computer Science. An MBA or equivalent qualification will be considered a plus.
- Proven success in sales, business development, or key account management, preferably within the IT consulting or software engineering industry.
- A deep understanding of the US market, including its dynamics, client needs, and competitor landscape.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with demonstrated experience in building and motivating high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen to identify and exploit market opportunities effectively.
- The ability to collaborate across departments and functions, fostering teamwork and achieving common goals.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for delivering results and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Availability to travel as required to meet clients, attend conferences, and fulfill job requirements.
- Deal-making experience, showcasing a track record of closing complex and high-value sales deals.
- Leading by example, setting high standards of professionalism, integrity, and goal-oriented behavior.
- A genuine passion for selling and leveraging it to drive business growth.
- A substantial network of contacts within the IT consulting or software engineering industry, including key decision-makers, industry experts, and potential clients.
