Job Description

Project Manager based out of Delhi/Gurugram/NCR region to manage Telecom customer project and be avaialble at customer location (onsite) as and whenever needed.

Job Description :

Work closely with clients to assess their needs, gather requirements, and provide technical solutions that meet their business objectives
Ready to work out of client location if needed.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders and clients
Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets, and track project progress against established targets
Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed
Provide guidance and leadership to the project team, and ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, sales, and customer success to ensure seamless delivery of the solution
Communicate project status updates and issues to the clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership
Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices
Maintain a deep understanding of the telecommunication industry trends and regulations and apply them to the projects
Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
10-12 years of experience in project management, preferably in Telecommunication industry
Proven experience in managing technical projects and delivering solutions using Cisco UCCx/PCCx platform/Cisco Voice Portal IVR applications
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with ability to drive conversations with clients using a holistic view of the contact center environments
Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and remotely

Planning & Metrics Tracking

Prepare Project Management Binder
Identify the internal and external stakeholders.
Project review goals should be shared with team members. It should be effectively tracked.
Efforts spent and the project phase should be in sync. (Project burn out chart)
In the weekly internal status meeting (team and senior management), key metrics MUST be presented
PMs are sole responsible and accountable for project success (completion on time, with in the sold efforts / cost).
Project should be completed within the stipulated target set for sold effort / cost.
Detailed project plan should be prepared in Microsoft Projects/JIRA. Should get an acceptance from customer.
Project projections are to be shared with the RMG/Corporate Accountant as and when sought.
Raising RR in ERP based on the project plan (in advance).
Raise invoices for completed milestones on time, and if there are delays, notify the Project Accountant for date revisions.
OEM / Cloud subscription (if any) in the projects then clearly understand the scope, licensing, invoicing, T&M. Track it clearly.
Defects are to be tracked from the beginning of the project.
Risk Management and tracking of Risks. Taking decisions to move any open issues or customer dependencies beyond the drop-dead date to Risk for better tracking and control.
Highlight Risks to customer and impact to project schedule or scope.
Ensure Taceability Matix (TRM) is prepared / updated till end of all the phases. (Starts from Pre-sales to ST)
Critical learning sessions should be conducted before project closure.
Track the project open items. Long pending items / dependent open items / project schedule impacting things,etc., should be moved to RISK tracker.

Change Control Management

Review the Scope of work meticulously and track it during the entire phase of project delivery. Any deviations should be properly communicated to the customer and raise a CR (with $ or zero $ depending on how big the change is)
PM should be part of the account farming. Look for the opportunities in the existing projects.

General Adherence :

On time for the meeting (internal / customer). Project team discipline starts from PM. PM should be a role model to his / her team
Mandatory participation on weekly review meeting with all project weekly review reports
Align a specific time for weekly/daily project stand up meetings to ensure team participation. Team always complains that PM keeps changing the meeting timings.
Send the customer contact details to conduct Customer Experience survey
Ensure all the project related artifacts are moved to Organization Repository Management (Configuration Management) Tool on weekly basis or event based.
