Manager-Merchandiser_ Home Furnishing Industry - Thane Location

Role Summary: We are seeking for excellent dynamic and experienced production & merchandiser to join our company. They will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of products from sourcing raw materials to final delivery of the product.

Roles & Responsibility-:

• Source and select materials and suppliers meeting quality and cost standards.
• Ensure timely development and approval of product samples.
• Coordinate with design team for new product production and development.
• Inspect and test fabrics to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify business opportunities through new vendors or product ideas.
• Negotiate price, discounts, delivery, and working terms with vendors.
• Maintain vendor relationships, resolve disputes, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with factory for inventory management and product dispatch.
• Collaborate with CRM & sales team on customer queries and new product launches.
• Coordinate with import department on fabric quantity and delivery details.
• Maintain records of product specs, contracts, and transactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Textile Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management (preferably in textiles or manufacturing).
• Experience with fabric inspection, testing, and quality control.
• Knowledge of fabric and material standards, testing methods, and industry regulations.
• Time management skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of global sourcing and import/export regulations.
