Role Summary: Supervisor - Catalogue Department

The Supervisor of the Catalogue Department will oversee the production of catalogues specifically for home furnishings, focusing on fabrics, patterns, and related products. This role requires a deep understanding of the home furnishing industry, fabric types, and catalogue creation. The Supervisor will lead a team, ensuring high-quality content, accurate product representation, and timely delivery of catalogues. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production, layout, and design of fabric catalogues, ensuring accurate representation of fabric types, colours, textures, and usage.
• Supervise, guide, and train a team on fabric knowledge and catalogue presentation.
• Ensure team understands materials, textures, and designs of home furnishing fabrics for accurate catalogue representation.
• Collaborate with product development, sales, and marketing to maintain consistency in product information, visuals, and descriptions.
• Review and approve product images, descriptions, and layouts for accuracy, ensuring colour and fabric swatch accuracy.
• Streamline catalogue production processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and meet deadlines.
• Work with design teams to ensure visually appealing and accurate presentations of fabrics.
• Analyse customer and sales feedback to improve catalogue effectiveness and drive sales.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Home Furnishing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fabric sampling or product development in the home furnishing industry.
• Proven experience managing a team of sampling technicians or product developers.
• Strong knowledge of fabric properties, types, and finishes used in home furnishings.
• Knowledge of MS Office is a must.
