We are Hiring for National Sales Head - Telesales for SahiBandhu FinTech Services ( The Manipal Group)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic National Head Telesales to build, scale, and lead a high-performing telesales division for our gold loan business. This role is critical in generating lead opportunities, sourcing data, building a scalable telesales operation from the ground up, and developing comprehensive reporting tools like dashboards and MIS to drive insights and performance. The ideal candidate will have experience scaling a telesales team from scratch and a deep understanding of data-driven sales strategies.


Key Responsibilities:-


1 Lead Generation & Data Acquisition:

    • Devise and implement strategies for generating quality leads through telesales, focusing on the gold loan sector.
    • Identify and establish data sources, including third-party data vendors, digital channels, and internal customer databases, to fuel telesales efforts.
    • Leverage data analytics, CRM systems, and other tools to create a steady pipeline of high-potential leads.
    • Work with marketing teams to align lead generation activities with broader marketing campaigns and target demographics

2 Building Telesales Team from Scratch:

    • Build a high-performing telesales division from the ground up, starting from zero and scaling the team to 100+ members.
    • Define recruitment processes, onboard and train new hires, and develop a robust training program focused on gold loan products, sales scripts, objection handling, and customer relationship management.
    • Implement performance monitoring and continuous training processes to ensure the team is always evolving and hitting sales targets.

3 Scaling Operations:

    • Develop scalable processes, systems, and tools to grow the telesales team and increase sales volume without compromising quality.
    • Implement best practices and automation tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and conversion rates.
    • Scale telesales operations from an initial phase to full capacity, ensuring smooth scaling without loss of service quality or performance.

4 Sales Process Optimization & Performance Management:

    • Monitor and analyze telesales metrics, including lead conversion rates, sales volume, call volume, and customer satisfaction, to optimize sales strategies.
    • Regularly review and update sales scripts, processes, and strategies based on performance insights and market trends.
    • Set clear KPIs and goals for the telesales team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and ensuring each team members growth and success.
    • Implement incentive programs and reward structures to maintain a motivated and competitive team.

5 Creating Dashboards & MIS:

    • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and management information systems (MIS) to track and report on telesales performance.
    • Provide real-time insights on sales performance, lead conversion, and other critical KPIs to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
    • Develop reports that provide actionable insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and team performance.
    • Use MIS and dashboards to drive strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

6 Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement:

    • Work closely with marketing, technology, product, and finance teams to ensure telesales activities align with the companys overall goals and strategies.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure telesales efforts are aligned with the overall business growth plans and customer satisfaction strategies.
    • Share insights with other teams, including marketing, product, and branch teams, to refine strategies and achieve business objectives.

7 Compliance & Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure the telesales team follows legal, regulatory, and industry guidelines, especially in telemarketing and financial products.
    • Maintain quality assurance practices to ensure all customer interactions meet company standards.

Qualifications & Skills

    • At least 10 years of experience in telesales, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within financial services or the gold loan industry.
    • Proven track record in building telesales teams from scratch and scaling them effectively.
    • In-depth experience with lead generation, data sourcing, and conversion strategies.
    • Demonstrated success in creating and implementing dashboards, reports, and MIS systems to track sales and performanc
