Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager – Mattress Machinery, who will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business opportunities, and managing client relationships in the mattress and PU foam industry. This Role will involve promoting high-tech machinery solutions, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market presence through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical understanding of these products and proven sales expertise in relevant markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales & Business Development: Drive sales of mattress manufacturing machinery, identify new business opportunities, and achieve revenue targets.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with mattress manufacturers, PU foam producers, and industry stakeholders.
• Market Research & Strategy: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
• Technical Sales & Consultation: Understand customer requirements and provide suitable machinery solutions, including demonstrations and technical support.
• Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify potential clients, follow up on leads, negotiate deals, and close sales successfully.
• Proposal & Quotation Management: Prepare and present proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations to secure long-term business.
• Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with the engineering, service, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Industry Events & Networking: Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences to expand industry connections and brand presence.
• Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain records of sales performance, prepare reports, and provide accurate forecasts to management.
• Travel & Customer Visits: Frequent travel to meet clients, conduct site visits, and ensure strong on-ground presence in the market.
Key Requirements:
• Experience: 7-10 years in B2B sales within mattress machinery, PU foam machinery, industrial equipment.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of mattress manufacturing processes, PU foam technology, and industrial automation.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Business Administration; MBA is a plus.
• Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to generate leads, close high-value deals, and manage long-term customer relationships.
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with machinery such as Glue machines, roll-pack machines, Complete automated mattress lines.
• Market & Competitor Awareness: Ability to analyze industry trends, identify potential clients, and develop competitive sales strategies.
• Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively pitch products and conduct client meetings.
• Networking & Relationship Building: Strong industry network with mattress manufacturers, foam producers, and related businesses.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, exhibitions, and business development activities.
• Tech-Savvy & Reporting: Proficiency in CRM software, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office for maintaining records and sales forecasting.
