PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - CASTOR OIL

SAAN is a specialty chemical manufacturing and trading firm located in the Delhi NCR region with a pan India presence. SAAN is expanding its operations and will soon begin the production of castor oil. We are looking for a dedicated individual to take full responsibility for the end-to-end coordination of the castor seed procurement, production process, and related supply chain management.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Identifying reliable farmers and sellers for castor seeds.
• Preparing and managing the day-to-day castor seed procurement process.
• Establishing and maintaining trust with farmers and seed suppliers.
• Managing the entire castor oil production process.
• Overseeing the supply and distribution of the manufactured castor oil to end customers.
• Managing and optimizing the supply chain.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with current and potential castor seed suppliers.
• Identifying opportunities to manufacture castor oil derivatives within SAAN Global.
• Exploring value addition and cost-reduction opportunities in the production process.
• Overseeing production planning, safety and compliance, quality assurance, process improvements, and inventory management.
• Taking on a leadership role within the production team.

Required Candidate Profile:

• 3+ years of experience in the production process of castor oil or other edible oils.
• Experience in product presentations and holding technical and commercial discussions.

Experience:

• Expertise in the production of castor oil or other edible oils, including QC processes.
• Proven experience in managing a complete plant operation.
• Strong background in supply chain logistics.
• A self-starter with a high level of motivation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and ERP systems.
