Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain precise accounting records by documenting daily transactions, ensuring all financial data is current and accurately reflects the business activities.
Account Reconciliation: Perform regular account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of the financial ledger.
Budget Management and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, monitor expenditures, analyse variances, and compose budget forecasts to support financial planning.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to statutory laws and financial regulations, prepare GST and TDS tax returns, and ensure timely submission to comply with tax laws.
Financial Analysis and Policy Development: Analyse financial data to identify trends, recommend financial policies and procedures, and suggest improvements to enhance financial efficiency and integrity.
Audit and Financial Controls: Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support; assess and improve accounting software applications and accounting control procedures.
Payroll Management: Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with legal requirements.
Confidentiality and Data Security: Maintain the confidentiality of all financial data, ensure secure storage of financial information, and perform regular backups to safeguard database integrity.
Year-end Financial Accounts: Make and evaluate the organizationyear-end financial accounts, ensuring they reflect the true financial position of the company.
Rectifying Discrepancies: Investigate and rectify any anomalies or inconsistencies in the companyfinancial documents.
Requirements
Bachelordegree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in financial regulations and tax filing.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
