We are seeking an experienced Purchase Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing team. A Purchase Coordinator must be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. This role will be responsible for supporting the Purchase Manager in managing the procurement process for a diverse portfolio of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Responsibilities -
Support the Purchase Manager in daily operations
Manage and maintain purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Track order status, delivery dates, and potential delays.
Communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order flow.
Monitor inventory levels and identify potential supply chain disruptions.
Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies
Research and qualify new suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Conduct market research and analyse pricing trends.
Participate in negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable pricing and terms.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Adhere to all company regulations and relevant industry standards.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement activities.
Provide administrative support to the Purchase Manage
Prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation as needed.
Manage and organize files, databases, and other relevant information.
Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Proven experience as a Purchase Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in the computer and network security industry.
Strong knowledge of multi-OEM purchasing, including the ability to navigate different procurement processes and systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficient in using purchasing software and tools to track and analyse purchasing data.
Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices.
