Job Summary:
The Senior Manager - Travel will oversee and lead the travel vertical, ensuring seamless operations, strategic partnerships, and exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for driving the growth of travel offerings, including air, hotel, and holiday packages, while maintaining high service standards and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel Operations Management:
Oversee end-to-end travel operations, including booking, fulfilment, and customer support.
Ensure a smooth and efficient process for managing travel services, including flights, hotels, and holiday packages.
Strategic Partnerships:
Identify, negotiate, and onboard travel partners such as airlines, hotel chains, and aggregators.
Build strong relationships with partners to ensure competitive pricing and exclusive offers.
Revenue Growth:
Drive revenue growth for the travel vertical by developing innovative packages and promotional campaigns.
Monitor and optimize margins across travel offerings to meet profitability targets.
Customer Experience:
Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure seamless travel experiences for end customers.
Address escalations and implement solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Analysis Strategy:
Analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to shape the travel strategy.
Develop and implement initiatives to differentiate Reward360 s travel offerings in the market.
Performance Monitoring:
Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the travel vertical.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on travel operations and growth metrics.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of travel specialists, ensuring high productivity and engagement.
Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within the team.
Key Skills Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Travel Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in the travel industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven expertise in managing travel operations and partnerships, preferably within a loyalty or customer engagement domain.
Skills:
Strong understanding of travel booking systems, GDS (Global Distribution System), and aggregators.
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Technical Expertise:
Familiarity with CRM tools and travel technology platforms.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools.
