Finishing Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Team Management:

Supervise and manage finishing teams, including subcontractors and laborers.

Allocate tasks and monitor daily work progress.

Provide training and guidance to team members to maintain high standards of quality.

• Finishing Works Execution:

Oversee all finishing activities, including painting,flooring, plastering, carpentry, tiling, and
false ceilings.

Ensure that finishing work is completed as per design, quality, and safety standards.

Coordinate with other engineering teams to resolve site-level challenges.

• Quality Assurance and Inspections:

Conduct regular inspections of finishing works to ensure compliance with project
specifications and standards.

Identify and rectify any defects or quality issues promptly.

• Project Handover:

Manage the handover process for completed real estate or hospitality projects.

Conduct final inspections, prepare snag lists, and ensure all issues are resolved.

Coordinate with clients to address their concerns and ensure a smooth transition.

• AutoCAD Proficiency:

Use AutoCAD for reviewing and modifying finishing-related designs and plans.

Ensure that designs align with on-site execution and resolve discrepancies.

• Material Management:

Monitor and manage inventory of finishing materials.

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.

• Coordination with Stakeholders:

Work closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to implement finishing
specifications.

Address client feedback and provide updates on project progress.

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finishing Engineer with 08+ years of experience in residential real estate projects or hotel/hospitality construction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in finishing works, team handling, project handovers, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Bachelors/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 08+ years of experience in finishing works for residential real estate or hotel/hospitality projects.
• Proven experience in real estate project handovers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
