Job Title: QA & QS Billing Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced QA & QS Billing Engineer with 7-8 years of experience in residential real estate projects or hotel/hospitality construction. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quality assurance, quantity surveying, billing, team handling, and real estate project handovers. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

• Lead and supervise QA, QS, and billing teams, including engineers and site staff.
• Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members.

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Implement and maintain quality standards for construction processes and materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare quality reports, monitor corrective actions, and ensure zero-defect delivery.

Quantity Surveying (QS):

• Prepare and review detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
• Monitor material quantities and usage to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Verify contractor claims and variations to control project costs.

Billing and Documentation:

• Prepare and review contractor and vendor bills in line with project progress.
• Ensure accurate measurements and timely submission of running and final bills.
• Maintain proper documentation for billing and auditing purposes.

Project Handover:

• Manage the handover process, including snag identification and resolution.
• Ensure that all quality parameters are met before handing over the project to the client.
• Provide documentation, warranties, and user manuals during the handover process.

AutoCAD Proficiency:

• Use AutoCAD for preparing and verifying design drawings and plans.
• Ensure designs align with project specifications and on-site execution.

Cost and Progress Monitoring:

• Track project costs against the budget and provide regular updates to management.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure timely project completion.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Work closely with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Address client queries and provide updates on QA, QS, and billing matters.

• Preferred Candidate Profile:
  Bachelors/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  7-8 years of experience in QA, QS, and billing for residential real estate or hotel/hospitality projects.
  Proven experience in real estate project handovers.
  Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
  Strong knowledge of construction standards, quality control measures, and quantity surveying techniques.
