The Operations Head will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end business operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and seamless execution. This role involves managing retail store expansion, supply chain optimization, customer service excellence, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, hands-on operational expertise, and experience in managing high-growth retail businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Operations & Expansion:
1. Develop and execute strategies for store expansion across key locations in India.
2. Oversee site selection, lease negotiations, and store setup, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
3. Implement operational procedures to ensure smooth store launches and ongoing efficiency.
4. Monitor store performance and drive operational improvements.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
1. Establish and optimize supply chain processes, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality products.
2. Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and logistics to maintain cost efficiency and quality control.
3. Implement robust inventory management systems to minimize shrinkage and maximize stock availability.
Customer Experience & Service Excellence:
1. Define and enforce customer service protocols to provide a premium shopping experience.
2. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align operations with customer expectations.
3. Implement CRM tools and analytics to track customer feedback and enhance service delivery.
Team Leadership & Training:
1. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team across multiple locations.
2. Develop training programs to enhance staff skills in customer service, sales, and product knowledge.
3. Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability within the organization.
Financial & Compliance Management:
1. Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
2. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, taxation policies, and legal requirements.
3. Implement risk management strategies to safeguard business operations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 8-15 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in jewellery, luxury, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and retail analytics.
- Proven track record in store expansion and operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and drive business scalability.
