Vice President - Operations - Logistics (10-15 yrs)

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients.

Key Responsibilities.

Supply Chain Management:.

- Oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient product flow from suppliers to customers while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

- Manage the global supply chain, including procurement, logistics, distribution, and demand forecasting, with an emphasis on cost reduction and process efficiency.

- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and other partners to negotiate contracts and optimize operational agreements.

Warehouse Management:.

- Oversee the operations of multiple warehouses, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and a smooth transition from receiving inventory to product dispatch.

- Implement best practices in warehouse operations to maximize space utilization, reduce operating costs, and improve productivity through automation, layout changes, and other enhancements.

- Lead efforts to maintain optimal inventory levels across warehouses, preventing stockouts and minimizing overstocking.

Inventory Management:.

- Design and implement strategies to improve inventory management systems, reducing waste while maximizing stock availability and reducing stock-outs.

- Monitor and analyze inventory metrics, and forecast future demand to ensure inventory aligns with sales projections.
