Vice President - eCommerce Operations - FMCG (15-17 yrs)

- The VP of Ecommerce Operations will oversee all aspects of ecommerce operations in India, focusing on P&L management, supply chain optimization, account management, and operational efficiency.

- Reporting directly to the COO, the VP will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer experience, optimizing the supply chain, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Marketplace Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for selling on multiple marketplaces, including competition analysis and growth planning.

- Inventory and Pricing Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with marketplace account managers and key clients.

- Negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and identify promotional opportunities.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams-key account management, supply chain, advertising, and finance-to align marketplace operations with business goals.

- Revenue and Profitability Analysis: Monitor and optimize sales to meet revenue and profitability targets.

- P&L Management: Oversee P&L for the assigned region, driving top-line and bottom-line growth to meet quarterly and yearly targets.

- Compliance and Policy Adherence: Stay updated on marketplace policies and ensure compliance to avoid penalties or account suspensions.

- Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize performance metrics across teams.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Experience:

- 15+ years in ecommerce, supply chain, or operations management.

- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing multiple marketplaces.

- 7+ years in General Trade or Modern Trade.

Sector Expertise:

- Strong understanding of ecommerce operations.

- Experience managing FMCG or CPG brands in healthcare, wellness, or beauty is highly desirable.
