QA ( Manual Tester )

 Job Overview:

 Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

•  Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.

•  Perform functional, regression, system, UI/UX, and integration testing.

•  Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.

•  Ensure all test activities are aligned with project timelines and quality standards.

•  Validate API responses using tools like Postman (basic API testing knowledge preferred).

•  Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on usability and quality improvements.

•  Prepare test reports, document test results, and communicate findings effectively.

•  Work closely with automation teams to enhance overall testing efficiency

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

•  2 to 5 years of experience in manual testing within the IT industry.

•  Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and different testing methodologies.

•  Experience in functional, regression, UI, and system testing.

•  Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).

•  Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.

•  Exposure to API testing using Postman is a plus.

•  Good understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
