Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Tester with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Manual Testing , Automation Testing , and writing effective test cases . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
Key Responsibilities: - Testing Activities:
- Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
- Perform automation testing using tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Test Case Development:
- Design, write, and maintain comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and user scenarios.
- Ensure test cases cover all functional, non-functional, and regression testing aspects.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with developers and project teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Quality Assurance Process:
- Participate in test planning and strategizing to improve testing efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvement during development cycles.
- Experience : Minimum of 1 year in QA testing, including manual and automation testing.
- Technical Proficiency :
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium , Appium , or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
- Documentation Skills :
- Experience in writing detailed and structured test cases .
- Proficient in creating and maintaining test documentation.
- Tools :
- Exposure to defect tracking tools like JIRA , Bugzilla , or similar.
- Experience in using version control tools like Git is a plus.
- Soft Skills :
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Experience in testing APIs and web services (e.g., Postman).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and workflows.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
