Job Description
Backend Development:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js .
- Create and optimize server-side APIs to ensure seamless integration with front-end systems.
- Implement secure and efficient data management techniques.
Integration and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with frontend developers to design and integrate APIs and backend services.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.
- Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and application errors.
Database Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain database schemas for optimal data storage and retrieval.
- Write efficient queries and scripts for relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB) .
Testing and Deployment:
- Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure robust code.
- Deploy and monitor backend systems in production environments.
Code Quality and Best Practices:
- Follow best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to improving development workflows.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Node.js development.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js .
- Experience with frameworks like Express.js or NestJS .
- Knowledge of API development and RESTful services.
- Familiarity with database technologies like MongoDB , MySQL , or PostgreSQL .
- Understanding of version control systems like Git .
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
- Basic knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with WebSocket or real-time data processing.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
