Job Description
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify defects and ensure software functionality.
- Conduct API manual testing to validate endpoints and data exchange.
- Execute database testing to verify data integrity and consistency.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application changes and communicate testing requirements.
- Document and report defects clearly and concisely in a bug tracking system.
- Participate in team meetings, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Assist in maintaining and updating test documentation and testing processes.
- Provide feedback on usability and overall user experience.
**Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Up to 3 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing is a plus.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
