Director - IT Project Delivery (18-20 yrs)

We are looking for a Delivery Director - IT Projects to lead custom application development initiatives, ensuring seamless execution of technology-driven solutions within the commercial insurance sector.

This role requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, and strategic technology leadership to drive successful delivery and business transformation.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Oversee IT Project Governance : Ensure compliance with monthly security audits, technology governance, and risk assessments for in-flight projects.

- Lead Project Execution : Manage costs, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and timelines.

- Strategic Technology Leadership : Identify digitization and automation opportunities and develop scalable, market-viable solutions.

- Solution Design & Architecture : Conduct solution reviews, lead technology evaluations, and drive adoption of cutting-edge innovations.

- Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with international clients, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives.

- P&L and Budget Management : Drive account profitability, ensuring effective resource allocation and account expansion.

- Pre-sales & Business Growth : Support solution estimation, proposal development, and strategic initiatives for new opportunities.

- Team & Capability Development : Create a technology roadmap, mentor teams, and enable cross-skilling and upskilling to meet future demands.

- Risk & Compliance Management : Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- Proven experience in IT project and program delivery, with deep expertise in SDLC frameworks and Agile methodologies.

- Strong understanding of technology governance, security audits, and risk management.

- Experience in managing large-scale international projects and multiple stakeholders.

- Ability to identify and implement technology innovations in the insurance sector.

- Strong P&L management, budgeting, and profitability optimization experience.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

- Expertise in pre-sales, solution design, and ERP responses
