Position Overview:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be a key strategic partner to the business, responsible for delivering HR services and solutions to various departments within the organization. With 5-9 years of experience in human resources, preferably within the e-commerce or tech industry, you will provide guidance on organizational development, talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning to support business objectives and ensure a competitive and dynamic workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnership & Strategy Alignment:
- Partner with senior leadership and management teams to understand business goals and objectives and develop HR strategies that align with those goals. Serve as a trusted advisor and proactively address HR issues and opportunities in line with business priorities.
Talent Management & Development:
- Lead initiatives around talent identification, succession planning, and leadership development. Work closely with managers to implement development programs, provide coaching, and ensure high-potential employees are nurtured within the organization.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Resolve employee relations issues, address concerns, and maintain open lines of communication to ensure a high level of employee engagement and satisfaction.
Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance management systems to ensure that employee performance is aligned with business objectives. Provide support to managers during performance reviews, goal-setting, and feedback processes.
Workforce Planning & Organizational Design:
- Advise on organizational design, structure, and workforce planning to ensure optimal resource allocation and alignment with business needs. Provide support in defining job roles, responsibilities, and career progression paths.
HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Utilize data and HR metrics to inform decision-making, measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, and continuously improve HR practices. Present regular reports and insights to leadership to support business strategies.
Compliance & Policy Management:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices. Help manage compliance in areas like compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion, and health & safety.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- 5-9 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in e-commerce, technology, or related fast-paced industries.
- Proven success in a business partner role, working directly with senior leadership and diverse teams.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and e-commerce industry dynamics.
- Expertise in talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with HRIS systems, data analytics, and HR reporting.
- High-level understanding of employment law and compliance requirements in the e-commerce space.
Education & Certifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources,(required).
- HR certification (such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CIPD) is a plus.
- Advanced degree in HR or a related field is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with global HR practices and remote teams.
- Familiarity with e-commerce business models, digital transformation, and tech-driven organizations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with agility and flexibility.
