Job Title: Senior Manager, Logistics & Warehousing

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Logistics & Warehousing will be responsible for executing and optimizing logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations. This role focuses on process improvements, cost control, and compliance to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will oversee warehousing functions, transportation networks, and logistics execution while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Warehousing Operations:

• Oversee logistics operations, including customs clearance, distribution centers, depots, transportation, fleet, and facilities.
• Implement logistics strategies in alignment with business objectives.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to reduce costs.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and performance monitoring tools.

Operations & Cost Optimization:

• Manage day-to-day operations of warehouses, distribution centers, and fleet.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in operational and capital expenditures.
• Optimize resource utilization, including fleet reallocation and vehicle usage improvements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enhance efficiency.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO certifications and AEO requirements.
• Maintain adherence to food safety, health, safety, and environmental policies across all logistics functions.

Team Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with warehouse staff, logistics personnel, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of operations.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to improve efficiency and problem-solving.

Financial & Budgetary Management:

• Assist in developing and managing logistics and warehousing budgets (OPEX & CAPEX).
• Monitor expenses, support cost reduction efforts, and improve budget forecasting accuracy.
• Contribute to financial reporting and cost analysis for decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• 7-10 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management.
• Strong experience in warehouse operations, transportation management, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of logistics software, WMS, and ERP systems.
• Experience in cost reduction initiatives and process improvement.
• Understanding of customs clearance regulations and AEO compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in the FMCG, retail, or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with digital transformation and automation in logistics operations.
• Strong data analysis skills for operational improvements.
