Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Commercial Finance will be responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making for the commercial function. This role will work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to enhance revenue management, optimize trade spend, and ensure financial discipline. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and expertise in financial strategy and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

• Support annual budgeting and forecasting for the commercial function, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario planning to support pricing, promotions, and trade spend decisions.
• Prepare financial reports, performance insights, and variance analysis for key stakeholders.

Revenue & Profitability Management:

• Analyze product and customer profitability to identify opportunities for margin improvement.
• Monitor and refine pricing structures, discount policies, and promotional investments.
• Evaluate financial feasibility of new business opportunities, partnerships, and product launches.

Financial Controls & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Support trade receivables, collections, and credit risk management in collaboration with the sales team.
• Assist in finance digital transformation initiatives, leveraging ERP (SAP) and financial analytics tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Provide financial insights to optimize trade spend allocation and maximize return on investment (ROI).
• Identify key financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to commercial leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in commercial finance, financial planning, or business analysis.
• Expertise in financial strategy, FP&A, revenue management, and trade spend optimization.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, and financial analytics tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in the FMCG, dairy, or food manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern market dynamics and trade compliance.
• Exposure to business transformation, digital finance initiatives, and advanced analytics.
