Job Title : SAP BODS Developer

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 11 years of experience in SAP data migration using BODS or LSMW, with involvement in at least 3 end-to-end data migration projects. This role will involve the design, development, and support of data migration processes and collaborating with functional teams to ensure successful data transfer.

Must-Have Skills :

• SAP Data Migration Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with data migration using SAP BODS or upload activities with LSMW.
• Data Migration Tools : Proficiency in using IDOCs, BAPIs, BDCs, and LTMC.
• BODS Skills :
  • Expertise in designing and building Data Services jobs.
  • Data validation, debugging, performance tuning, job scheduling, code review, and code promotion.
• LSMW Skills : Extensive experience with all 4 methods of LSMW upload options.
• Field Mapping and Logic Translation : Ability to gather requirements, perform field mapping, and translate functional rules into ETL logic using BODS or LSMW.
• Domain Expertise : Strong functional understanding of core SAP modules such as FI, MM, QM, PP, SD, PM, PS, IM, and EWM.
• SQL Proficiency : Strong skills in SQL for debugging and troubleshooting queries.

Good-to-Have Skills :

• Experience in data migration project planning and managing data dependencies between migration objects.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with other SAP modules beyond the core ones listed above.
• Experience in data quality assurance and testing during migration processes.

Experience Range :

• 4 to 11 years of experience in SAP data migration (BODS and LSMW).
• At least 3 end-to-end SAP data migration projects.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging SQL queries.
