Business Analyst (Power BI)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:

• Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional departments to gather, document, and analyze requirements .
• Present data findings and insights to non-technical audiences in a clear and actionable manner.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals.

Data Analysis & Insights:

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to support business decision-making .
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting.

Power BI Report Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports .
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, usability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful data visualizations .

Office 365 & Active Directory Integration:

• Leverage knowledge of Office 365 tools to enhance collaboration and reporting processes.
• Understand Active Directory structures to support data access, permissions, and security for reporting solutions.

Process Improvement & Automation:

• Continuously review and enhance reporting processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of insights.
• Identify opportunities for automation of workflows and reporting tasks .

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• Proven experience (6-10 years) as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on Power BI report development .
• Good understanding of Office 365 ecosystem and Active Directory .

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Power BI , including DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling .
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Tenant, Licenses, and Services .
• Knowledge of Active Directory and its role in data access and permissions.
• Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools is a plus.
