Manager/Senior Manager - Product - Switchgear Division (10-18 yrs)

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Product Head to lead our Switchgear Division in Guwahati.

- You will be responsible for developing and implementing product strategies, driving product development and enhancement, conducting market research, supporting sales efforts, and managing product profitability.

- This leadership role requires a strong understanding of the switchgear industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in product management.

Product Strategy & Management:

- Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies for the switchgear portfolio, aligning with overall company objectives and market demands.

- Define product roadmaps, prioritize development initiatives, and manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and end-of-life.

- Monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes to achieve business goals.

Product Development & Enhancement:

- Lead the development of new switchgear products, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and other relevant teams.

- Drive enhancements to existing product lines based on market feedback, technological advancements, and competitive analysis.

- Manage product development projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budget and quality standards.

Market Analysis & Research:

- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.

- Analyze market data to inform product decisions, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.

- Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and technological advancements.

Sales Support & Collaboration:

- Collaborate closely with sales teams to provide technical product knowledge, training, and promotional support.

- Develop sales tools and materials to effectively communicate product value propositions to customers.

- Participate in customer meetings and presentations as a product expert.

Profitability Management:

- Develop and implement product pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share.

- Monitor product costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

- Analyze product performance and make recommendations to improve profitability.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in product management, specifically within the switchgear or electrical industry.

- Strong understanding of the switchgear market, product lifecycle management, and sales strategies.

- Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
