Lead Associate/AM

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models using Excel to support business decisions
• Analyze large data sets across multiple sheets to identify mismatches, insights, trends, risks, and opportunities
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial performance and develop strategies for improvement
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other financial tools to support business needs

Preferred candidate profile

• Commerce Graduate with 5+ years of experience in FP&A or a related field
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables, Lookup functions, Sum Ifs, Count Ifs, macros, and data visualization
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work with large data sets and complex financial models
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts and principles
• Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights
• Certification in finance or accounting, such as CA, CFA or CPA
• Experience working on ERPs such as Blackline and Alteryx
