In the Contract Recruiter role, you will be responsible, along with your peers, for building and growing the very first site location for in India! The right candidate will be the ground floor owner and builder of both the Recruiting team and business across all functions, with a heavy emphasis on Engineering and Product hiring. This person will help to define how positions itself in the market for tech talent among other verticals and for creating a world-class internal culture that the best of the best want to be a part of. Hire India business needs in and around the Bengaluru area (Outer Rim)
Align key talent initiatives and resources with Oktas core business objectives
Organizational design; building an effective organization designed to deliver at scale in a hyper-growth company
Strategic Account Management - partner with key product unit leaders and managers to ensure hiring of the right talent at the right time.
Partnership & Influence - Work closely with Finance & HR leaders to deliver short & long term talent solutions that drive growth & efficiency
Operational Excellence - drive efficiencies that scale; metrics, process, technology
Build and align operating rhythms that ensure the team hits established KPIs
Seen as a Brand Ambassador and steward of talent for Okta
QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years in corporate, internal recruiting business facing role with experience recruiting across Engineering, Product, IT, Sales and G&A profiles in the India market
Demonstrated experience building and driving internal and external talent branding (referral drives, tech talks, webinars, LinkedIn campaigns, blog posts, hiring events etc) is required
5+ years demonstrated building, growing business teams in the India geographical
market
5+ years direct partnership with internal business leadership up to VP and partners (HR, Finance, Ops, compensation, benefits teams) building strategy and hiring execution plans
Direct experience working across global locations and time zones and influencing without ownership in a dotted-line organizational structure
Direct experience building and sharing retroactive and forward-looking analytics with internal stakeholders on the talent market and internal success metrics in Recruiting (hires, run rates, acceptance rates, talent availability, and more)
Demonstrated ability to balance short & long; you understand the need to meet short-term goals while planning for future growth and scale
