Lead ServiceNow Developer - ITSM Module (4-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions, with a strong focus on ITSM modules. You will leverage your expertise in back-end web development, software development, and object-oriented programming to optimize and enhance our technology solutions. We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual who can contribute to our team's success.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.

- Customize and configure ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, etc.) to meet business requirements.

- Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripts, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and workflows.

- Perform system upgrades and apply patches.

- Develop and maintain rest API integrations.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.

- Implement and improve ITSM processes within the ServiceNow platform.

- Ensure adherence to best practices and standards for ServiceNow development.

- Utilize back-end web development and software development skills to enhance ServiceNow functionality.

- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to develop robust and scalable solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex ServiceNow issues.

- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve incidents and service requests.

- Perform root cause analysis.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.

- Participate in code reviews.

Key Requirements & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

- Strong understanding of ITSM processes and best practices.

- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).

- Experience with back-end web development and software development.

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

- Experience with REST API integrations.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.

- Candidates must be able to join within 15 days.
