Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Security Engineer with expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint firewalls, alongside a solid understanding of Cybersecurity, SASE, SSE, and ISE solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the robust security of our network infrastructure, managing firewall configurations, implementing security policies, and contributing to technical documentation.

Additionally, the role will require you to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide knowledge transfer (KT) and support handovers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint firewalls for enterprise-level security infrastructure.

- Conduct troubleshooting and optimization of firewall policies to ensure maximum network security.

- Monitor firewall logs and network traffic to identify and resolve security threats.

- Implement cybersecurity best practices and conduct vulnerability assessments.

- Develop security policies, including segmentation strategies, threat prevention, and incident response.

- Stay current on the latest security trends and emerging threats in the cybersecurity landscape.

- Implement and manage Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions.

- Collaborate with cloud security teams to implement secure networking and compliance frameworks for SaaS, cloud, and mobile environments.

- Deploy and manage Cisco ISE to implement network access control, user authentication, and endpoint protection.

- Ensure integration with existing firewalls, VPN, and other security infrastructure.

- Create and maintain High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and system architecture documentation.

- Prepare detailed handover documents to ensure a smooth transition of operational responsibilities.

- Provide clear and concise knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to cross-functional teams for process and system understanding.

- Work closely with network and systems teams to define and refine security requirements.

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for any security-related incidents.

- Participate in design and implementation reviews, ensuring security best practices are adhered to.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Proven experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint firewalls.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, including network security, threat prevention, encryption, and intrusion detection.

- Hands-on experience with SASE, SSE, and ISE solutions.

- Expertise in preparing and maintaining HLD, LLD, and handover documentation.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with troubleshooting complex network security issues.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.

- Experience with incident response and vulnerability management tools.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in Cisco (CCNP, CCIE), Palo Alto (PCNSE), or Checkpoint (CCSE) are highly preferred.

- Knowledge of cloud security, Zero Trust architecture, and next-gen firewalls.

- Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint protection, and other security management tools
