Deputy Manager Assembly Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• To decide and develop technology, resources and process to carry out subassemblies and assemblies of nuclear and high technology pump.
• To define and develop special processes like Helium leak testing, Dynamic balancing, High pressure hydro testing, pickling and passivation.
• To develop tools and equipments for the subassembly and assembly and should be able to operate special Equipments like stud tensioner, hydraulic wrenches.
• To plan and execute subassembly, assembly and disassembly.
• To define and execute special operations like Helium leak testing, Dynamic balancing at grade 0.4, High pressure hydro testing, pickling and passivation.
• To establish the process of generation of DM water for hydro testing, pickling and passivation, flushing.
• To develop, establish and execute pickling and passivation process for SS component.
• Physical & logical crediting of pumps by issuing the credit note.
• Inventory control and inventory management.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE - 3 -12 Yrs Experience, Diploma 5 -15 yrs of rich experience in Assembly of critical Equipment's
• Knowledge of special processes like Dynamic balancing, High pressure hydro testing, Helium leak testing, pickling and passivation.
• Candidate should have experience in Pressure vessel or Pump Industry
• Helium leak certification is an added advantage
