Role & responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Develop the strategies and implement comprehensive dealer business plans to drive sales and expand the reach of SPB products in the state at District and Taluka Levels.
- Achieve Sale Numbers as per target.
- Manage forecasting, inventory control, and address product line demand challenges.
- Set the overall business direction, ensure seamless coordination with dealers, and oversee timely follow-ups.
- Provide Field Inputs to the Sales Head and Agriculture Business Head as may be required.
Farmer Engagement & Product Promotion:
- Connect directly with farmers/Agricultural Bodies and Institutions and end customers to promote the usage of Borewell Submersible Pumps.
- Implement marketing programs and incentives that resonate with farmers, ensuring greater involvement with SPB products.
- Implement marketing campaigns that highlight the technical, agronomic, and economic benefits of SPB products.
- Collaborate with large growers for Agri. market development through fact plots and on-farm demonstrations.
Product Demonstration & Trials:
- Drive Team to Champion the performance of SPB Borewell Submersible Pumps by conducting side-by-side trial plots with targeted farmers and end users.
- Collect and summarize performance data to support optimized product recommendations.
MIS/Competition Mapping: Interval (Monthly for normal developments, weekly for important developments and on as and when happening basis for critical developments (which could impact our business)
-Analyzing and providing information about major competitors in the state and different operating territories in terms of market presence, product offerings, pricing strategies, Customer engagement, Marketing, Distribution strategies, SWOT (Competition Matrix) and Innovation.
Customer Requests &Forecasting of Trends:
-Analyze market dynamics, technological advancements, consumer demands to request for additional features or predict future developments/Drivers.
Success Stories: Sharing Interval: Monthly and aligned with the months budget.
-Unique Success stories adopted by the respective state in charges in achievement of sales numbers can help build trust, demonstrate value and influence customer decisions. This can be used in sales presentations, brochures, digital channels and sales conversations
-The team need to highlight quantifiable benefits and clear metrics.
Training and Monitoring the Sales Team:
-Regular motivation, monitoring and training to sales team to increase the work efficiency & outputs.
